NarrationOS produces narration using text-to-speech and voice-cloning models that run on your own computer. The voices you hear are synthetic and AI-generated, not recordings of a person reading your book.

Output quality varies with the input text, the voice you use, your settings, and your hardware. The software is provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not promise any particular result, accuracy, or that renders will be uninterrupted or error-free.

You keep full rights to the audiobooks you create, including for commercial use, as long as the source text and any cloned voice are your own or you have permission to use them.

You are solely responsible for the books, text, audio, and voice samples you import or generate, and for making sure your use of the narration and voice-cloning features complies with the law and respects the rights of any person whose voice or likeness is involved. Cloning a real person's voice without their consent can be unlawful.

NarrationOS makes no claim on the output you create and takes no responsibility for how you use the app. This is also covered in Section 6 of the EULA.

NarrationOS is a Windows desktop application that runs on your machine. The narration model and the speaker-attribution model both run locally, and once first-run setup is finished the app works fully offline. Your books and voices are not uploaded to us.

NarrationOS is licensed, not sold, under a one-time perpetual license for use on devices you own or control. The full terms are in the End User License Agreement.

You buy NarrationOS through a third-party storefront (Steam or itch.io). Your purchase, payment, and any refund are handled by, and governed by the terms of, that storefront.

Nothing in the EULA excludes or limits any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live, that cannot lawfully be excluded. See Section 7 of the EULA.

Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation. itch.io and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners. NarrationOS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Their names and marks are used only to identify the platforms NarrationOS is distributed or discussed on.
